Superb weekend at a phenomenal house.
Beautiful surroundings, lovely views, and a huge house/property. So many spaces to entertain, chill, read, swim, cook and socialise. I feel we barely scratched the surface - one could stay for a week and still find new things to do.
The staff were incredibly friendly and quick to help with whatever is needed.

We spent a week at Guinevere Guest Farm for our company year end and had the most amazing time! The rooms were spacious, neat and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed and more. Thank you for having us and making our year end memorable. 🤩👍🙏

Years ago I was traveling through Nicaragua (Little Corn Island) and ran into one of the owners and caretakers of the Guinevere Guest Farm. Carly said if you're ever in South Africa to look them up. Of course I did just that about a year later. Carly and Will went out of their way to meet me in Cape Town and show me around the town for a few days. On my last night in the southern part of the country they took me on a wine tasting in the Tulbagh area and then to their Guest Farm for the evening...which I didn't even know existed. They set me up with one of the cleanest and fancy rooms I've seen while traveling in Africa. Not only were they fantastic hosts but they set me up a traditional South African Brie and also carted me back to the airport (about an hour and half away) where I rented a car to continue on with my journey. If you're looking for good time out in nature with a beautiful pool, clean room in a beautiful city with wonderful owners please check out the Guinevere Guest Farm! I can't say enough good things about this place! Make sure to them Troy from the US says hi!

My weekend at the farm was nothing short of amazing. It came at the perfect time in my life when I was feeling rather depleted. Carly's hospitality was incredible, she whips up the most amazing vegan meals that keep you on top of the world. The retreat is beautiful and the time spent with wonderful women allowed me to step into my power and break down trust barriers. Highly recommend for anyone needing relaxation and a bit of a reset. PS: the yoga and massages were also incredible! There's too much to mention...... Just Go! It'll be good for you. Xx

We stayed as a family of 10 adults and 6 kids over Christmas and had the most relaxing and wonderful time at Guinevere. The house is so well equipped you literally don’t need anything but food, plus it is so big that we felt like we had our own private hotel! What a special way to spend family time together. The kids were in heaven and the adults got to relax. The setting is really beautiful, you just can’t put it in words. And thanks to Emily and Marko for always being around to assist even through Christmas Day 🙂

I just returned home from the most blissful 4 day Retreat at Guinevere guest house. The Nature Retreat hosted by Carly, the owner of the guest house, was a well curated but relaxed experience. We foraged, we Yogaed, we gonged, we hiked, we were massaged, we ate DELICIOUS food, swam in rock pools and had Vedic astrology readings. Thank you @carly_naturefinds for the best possible start to a week. HIGHLY RECOMMEND:)))) xx

From the moment you arrive this relaxed country villa oozes opulence.
Carly is the best host. Lending a helpful hand where needed and making sure everyone is comfortable.
So much space to enjoy different activities, be with friends or find a tranquil space to spend with your own thought.
We loved it so much that we’re going back in the new year to celebrate our marriage with a very close group of friends.
If the remote location is a concern, don’t fret, it’s only a 20min drive from a multitude of cafes, restaurants and all the wonderful wineries in the area.
Do yourself a favour, find 10+ friends and book a relaxing weekend at this amazing venue!

We stayed at Guinevere farm as a group of 14 adults from 13 - 15 September.
The venue is absolutely lovely, it is very private with fantastic views. Everything was in great condition, and we felt that it catered very adequately for big groups (in terms of seating, chill areas, kitchen equipment). Marko was fantastic and really made our stay even more comfortable.
One thing to note, the last 7km is a gravel road. The last 1-2km is a proper farm gravel road, best will be to not drive your sports car for the weekend

The majestic Guinevere guesthouse with its 10 foot high doors and massive picture windows is set in the idyllic Tulbagh valley. During my recent stayover, as the early sun rose over the Witzenberg mountains on a crisp winter morning, I couldn't help thinking that there is no better place in the world to retreat to, and to rejuvenate a jaded body and soul. Tranquil dams with twittering birds, cows grazing in green and succulent pastures and the most beautiful flowers springing from hidden bulbs, all set in a canvas of mountains that could have inspired a Pierneef masterpiece. Highly recommended for comfort and peace.

What a wonderful destination for a family get-together. The setting was beautiful, our bedroom so beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable and the facilities excellent. We made good use of the kitchen, lounge area and the gorgeous balcony. The food was divine - breakfasts and the fruit and muesli tarts eagerly anticipated each morning. Plus the welcoming fire to combat the chills from the snow on the surrounding mountains!!
We wish we could have stayed even longer!
We all made the most of William's informative flower walks as well and enjoyed the wine tasting!
Thank you for wonderful service and making us feel so at home!

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at Guinevere Guest Farm. The food was INCREDIBLE, the hospitality was exemplary and the general warmth and care with which we were treated as guests was something others should strive towards. The muesli fruit cups as starters for breakfast were just to die for & there simply isn't a single thing we could complain about. The allure of the farm is added to by the spooky art, mostly by Nicholas Esterhuizen, adding some mystery to the guest house. Top that off with breath-taking mountain views completely surrounding the Farm, and you have yourself a little piece of heaven. Excellent value for money - will definitely be back again!
